March 8 Meeting - Solving Those Aggravating PC Problems

Computer issues?  Hardware, Operating System, applications?  Come to our March 8 Meeting and learn some Windows Tips and Tricks that may help you recover from a computer system failure the next time it happens.

Today, computers help us extend the enjoyment our our Amateur Radio hobby.  Mark Klocksin, WA9IVH, will tell us what to do when problems happen to these usually-trusty servants.  Mark will discuss the following:

-Routine Maintenance (keeping it running)
-When Problems happen (what to do when it’s not running)
-How to fix slow computer issues (how to speed up our machines), and
-Windows 7 thoughts for ham operators

Mark has been a ham since 1963, and a computer user since 1977.  He recently achieved the “A+” certification from CompTIA, validating the latest skills needed by computer support professionals.
