July 6 (Sat.) – South Milwaukee ARC Swapfest ’13. American Legion Post #434, 93 27 S. Shepard Ave., Oak Creek, WI. Opens 6:30AM (usually dead by 11:45AM). Tickets $5. Talk-in on 146.52/s.

July 13 (Sat.) - CARMA regular meeting. Our local scanner group. Meet at Phillies Pizza, Rt 83 and 63rd St., Willowbrook, IL. Lunch at 12 Noon, Meeting at 1PM.

July 13 (Sat.) – Indianapolis Hamfest. Marion County Fairgrounds, near I-465 and 74, just southeast of city, see www.indyhamfest.com . Tickets $8. Talk-in on 146.76/-. Indoor and outdoor, Forums, VE Testing.

July 14 (Sun) – FRRL Hamfest. Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Dr., Aurora, IL. Tickets $8. Talk-in on 147.210/+ (PL 103.5). Outdoors, VEC Exams, ARRL Card Checking, ‘Ask the Elmers’ booth.

July 21 (Sun) – KARSFEST 2013. Will County Fairgrounds, Peotone, IL (I-57 to Peotone Exit 327 East). Tickets $10. Indoor/Outdoor, Bldg.’s open at 8AM, Forums, VEC Testing, Card Checking.

July 25- 28 (Thurs-Sun) – Central States VHF Society Conference. Elk Grove Village, Holliday Inn, 1000 Busse Rd. (Rt 83), Elk Grove Village, IL. Registration $60 (conference fee + membership).
